This cabin was truly one of the highlights of our trip to North Georgia. Ellijay is such a charming little town, and even though it rained for almost half of our second day, it only made our stay feel cozier. We were so happy to have the perfect reason to relax and enjoy this beautiful, homey cabin.
Check-in was seamless thanks to Maria, who provided all the details we needed. We were greeted with soft, cozy music playing on the TV — such a thoughtful touch from the housekeeper, Brittany, that instantly set the mood. The cabin had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed a wonderful evening by the fireplace with wine, a good book, and a cheese plate — it couldn’t have been cozier. I especially appreciated the timed fireplace, which added both comfort and peace of mind.

The cabin is an absolute delight! We felt comfortable from the start and made ourselves right at home. The gas fireplace added coziness to the space, and that it’s easy to use and on a timer made it that much better. Our dog was made to feel welcome, too, with his own amenities and even a little gift. Highly recommend!

This is exactly what we were looking for, a cabin in the woods, private and secluded. The hottub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Blue Ridge and Ellijay were close enough to branch out.

Wonderful place to stay! The house is cozy and spotless, surrounded by beautiful nature that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The hot tub was already heated and ready for us upon arrival — such a thoughtful touch from the hosts! The location is great: close to local attractions, yet perfectly secluded for peace and privacy. We would gladly come back!

We had such a great stay at Maria’s home. This was the perfect getaway for my husband’s birthday. The house exceeded expectations and had anything we could need. We recommend hiking the Cartecay River loop and getting food at The Roof and the Pink Pig. We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Peak Cabin! The place is peaceful, easy to get to, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Communication with the host was clear and check-in was easy.
One of the highlights was spotting a couple of deer families right by the cabin—such a treat to see! Overall a cozy, quiet spot and very close proximity to downtown.
